Editing Preferences:
CULLING
~1200 unless otherwise specified
COLOR CORRECTION:
2 presets :
-DJ CLEAN 1 on indoor photos (I tweak this one to be more vibrant as it’s a little dull)
-DJ CLEAN 2 for outdoor photos (for a warmer look outdoors I tweak it for more vibrancy as well)
-WB- very neautral, slightly warm
-drop highlights and whites/raise blacks for matte contrat look
soft filmy look- grain encouraged.
—Vibrance encouragred.
-use HSL sliders to remove red tones from the skin or blue from the dress
And then for my “special” edits I use the last Filmy 4 preset but adjust the colors for a balanced look.
MISC. RETOUCHNG:
create 30 or so duplicates to do special edits with filmy 3 and filmy 4 presets, play with toning for “disposable camera” look.
